Steve Norton is the Executive Vice President of
Value Partners Investments (VPI) and has been with the company since its
inception. Prior to his current role at VPI, Steve helped raise capital to fund
the company in its initial phase as the Director of Marketing. Under his
leadership, VPI has become one of Canada’s fastest growing companies and, more
importantly, has helped clients across Canada increase their wealth by more
than $1.8 billion by investing wisely.
Prior to his time at VPI, Steve worked at one of
Canada’s largest mutual fund companies and its largest bank. Steve is a
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and received the Robert Half Award
for achieving the highest combined mark in Manitoba in 2014.
After high school, Steve received an athletic
scholarship to attend Michigan State University where he was the recipient of
the Rookie of the Year Award and was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 1991
NHL entry draft.
